Sales volume vs. commission
This report measures what each person sold. It does not apply commission rates. For commission dollars — rates, splits, and payout math — use the Salesperson Commission Report, which is the report to run at payroll time. Think of Sales by Salesperson as the performance leaderboard and Commissions as the pay calculation.
Tips
- Average Sale is often more telling than total — a rep with a high average ticket may be your best closer even with fewer invoices.
- Salesperson is captured per invoice from the invoice’s Salesperson field; invoices with no salesperson set group under a blank/unassigned row.
