My Profile

Personal account identity — display name, password change, and a list of active sessions on your account. Workstation preferences (printer, scanner, tag style) live separately on My Settings.

The My Profile page (/profile) is where you manage your personal account identity. It only affects your account; admins manage role, permissions, and store access from the Users page.

What lives here

  • Display Name — how your name appears on invoices, audit log entries, and team-facing surfaces.
  • Password — change your password by entering your current one followed by the new one. You stay signed in on the current device.
  • Active Sessions — every device currently signed in to your account, with browser/OS and last-seen time. Sign out remote sessions from here if you suspect unauthorized access.

What doesn’t live here

  • Printer, scanner, tag style, dashboard preferences — these are workstation-specific personal settings, on My Settings (/settings/me) instead. See the My Settings article.
  • Permissions, store assignment — admins manage these from the Users page on your behalf.
  • Email address — managed at the org level by an admin; can’t be changed self-serve.

Tips

  • Single-session enforcement means signing in on a new device signs you out of older ones. If you’re getting unexpected sign-outs, check Active Sessions to see who else is using your account.
  • If you forgot your current password, sign out and use Forgot password? on the login page — a reset email gets sent to your account email.
